With Mike Cole on upright Bass, Mike was Mungo Jerry's first Bass-Player and he performed on the first album and a the first singles, he took part of the recording of "In The Summertime". Just before Mike left the band (after the USA tour in 1971) the band recorded the first version from "Have A Whiff On Me" released only on the USA lp "Memoirs Of A Stockbroker". and also on the (2017) 5 CD box "The Dawn Albums Collection".  On 18th and 19th june 2005 Mike took a part on the 35th anniversarry weekend and after that he played several times with Mungo Jerry, I visit a few gigs with Mike mostly in the UK, but also in France, I'm really glad I met Mike after all those years...
