Newcastle Under Lyme / London / Newcastle Under Lyme: 560km

The first time this weekend we’re gonna met Ray, after breakfast we left the Comfort Inn Hotel ‘round 9:30am with our hired car (Mercedes A-Class) to the Olympia Record Fair. A roadmap with full description we made already at home so we thought it was easy to find. Pity we missed the right junction in London so we searched around for more as an hour to find the Olympia we’re we arrived at 2:15pm. We’re invited by Rob Lythall from “VIP Events” to come to this record fair. Ray Dorset and Mick Frampton are present at an area located in the back of the fair. Ray is doing a autograph session. Avaialble: 1970 photo, Cd’s and memorabilia and did a interview for a radio station in English and German language. After a chat I walked into the record fair and found two singles for my collection, “Hello Nadine – Promo” and “Cold Blue Excursion” both in white sleeve. We left the fair just after five and arrived at the Comfort Inn ‘round half past seven, A long jouney but it was worth to do. Now it’s time to met Kevin & Tracy for some drinks and a bite.

Looking forwards for tomorrow “the big day” with two Mungo Jerry gigs to go.
